Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to support wellness programs across our rehabilitation services. You will supervise the Wellness Instructor and Massage Therapist, plan and lead fitness activities, and manage program budgets.

Design personalized 1:1 workouts for older adults, ensure safety, maintain equipment, and build relationships with facility staff. A bachelor's or master's in exercise sciences and 3 years of program-management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field required.
• Documented experience in wellness/program management in senior living, hospital, or health/fitness center.
• Certifications in the list above are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized 1:1 fitness training programs for older adults.
• Develop health and wellness programs aligned with Powerback concepts.
• Maintain equipment safety and coordinate maintenance.
• Recommend equipment to support new programs and activities.
• Develop programming budgets and evaluate programs by revenue and satisfaction.
• Create safety plans for wellness activities and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with facility management as the on-site Powerback representative.
• Handle patient-related services under therapist guidance within regulatory guidelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology/science/kinesiology
