Job summary

Menno Haven is seeking a dedicated Fitness Assistant to engage residents and support wellness programs in our senior living community. The role involves leading group fitness classes for older adults and collaborating with teams to create engaging wellness experiences.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in wellness or fitness and experience with older adults, with CPR/First Aid certification and a passion for helping others thrive. This is a full-time position with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wellness, fitness, or related field.
• 2+ years working with older adults.
• CPR + First Aid certification (required).
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage group fitness classes and wellness activities for older adults.
• Develop creative programs to encourage participation and healthy living.
• Promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual well-being.
• Build relationships with residents and support their wellness goals.
