Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Wellness Associate to support residents in exercise protocols, evaluate wellness needs, and promote group activities. The role involves teaching water and land classes, ensuring safety, and assisting with program planning under the Wellness Director.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, resident-centered service, and collaboration with staff to maintain high-quality wellness services.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand the English language.
• Must be willing to work and cooperate well with other employees.
• Must be able to problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with exercise protocol based on individual participant’s needs, goals and/or ability levels.
• Assists Wellness Director with resident evaluations.
• Develops relationships with residents that encourages increased participation in exercise and wellness programs.
• Teaches water and land exercise classes and leads recreational exercise as directed by the wellness Director.
• Instructs residents in safety orientation and procedures for use of equipment utilized independently and without staff supervision.
• Responds to emergencies in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Emergency Procedure Manual.
• Assist in planning and promoting wellness programs based on needs and interests of the residents.
• Encourage social engagement through group exercise.

Education
