Job summary

Benedictine Living La Crosse is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to meet the social and therapeutic needs of residents through activities, wellness interventions, and leisure programming. The role involves continued interaction with community groups and completing the wellness portion of assessments.

Responsibilities include delivering daily events, programming support, and ensuring activities align with residents’ needs, with a focus on person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle assigned.
• Driving record must meet Benedictine requirements.
• Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, including 1 year full-time in patient activities in health care.
• Program must be directed by a qualified professional per 483.15(f)(2) with specified credentials.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents' social and therapeutic needs through activities and wellness interventions.
• Provide relevant daily events and programming to meet residents' needs.
• Engage with community groups for wellness initiatives.
• Complete the wellness portion of the assessment process.
