Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Health and Wellness Director to oversee health programs and services for residents, aligning with regulatory standards and organizational mission. You will supervise clinical staff, manage the budget, and drive initiatives that promote overall well-being within the community.

Ideal candidates will hold RN or LPN licensure, demonstrate strong leadership, and be prepared to coordinate care with families and staff, including after-hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours when necessary.
• Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for assessments and trainings.
• Must have current RN or LPN licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and wellness programs ensuring residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Directly supervise nursing/clinical staff and manage the clinical budget.
• Coordinate care conferences with families and residents, liaising between residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely documentation; monitor assessments and service plans.
• Attend required trainings and maintain LMS-based certifications.
• Schedule and conduct new resident orientations and staff training sessions.
• Respond to emergencies and support on-call clinical needs.
