Elan Westpointe in New Braunfels, TX is seeking Wellness Associates to care for residents in its Assisted Living and Memory Care community. No experience required, though prior caregiving is a plus; compassionate individuals will join a team dedicated to dignity and connection.

You’ll support daily living activities, monitor health, and collaborate with the Wellness Director. The role offers a supportive workplace, paid time off, and benefits as part of AgeWell Solvere Living family.

Competenze

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.

Mansioni

• Assists Residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility if needed.
• Maintains an awareness of each Resident’s general state of health and reports changes to the Wellness Director.
• Keeps an inventory of medical supplies and assists with ordering when necessary.
• Assists with finding shift coverage when unexpected call outs occur.
• Develops and helps maintain assignments for the Wellness Director.
• Responds to Resident emergencies; provides first-aid and arranges for medical follow-up.
• Maintains records according to policy and assists in onboarding new staff.
• Participates in in-service education and supports Residents with meals, laundry, and activity programs.
