The role assesses wellbore integrity risks and develops strategies to ensure long-term reliability across Midland and Delaware Basin assets. Collaboration with Production Engineering, Workover, and Drilling is essential for effective execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, oil and gas preferred.
• Experience with deviated or horizontal wells and wellbore remediation.
• NACE/AMPP or similar corrosion certification preferred with CBL/VDL interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain root cause analysis datasets for water influx and wellbore integrity issues.
• Analyze water influx data to identify repeat failure modes and systemic risks.
• Evaluate corrosion- and erosion-driven failure mechanisms and apply reliability analysis methods.
• Develop and guide corporate mitigation strategies to prevent or manage water influx and degradation.
• Lead implementation and project management of mitigation measures, including vendor engagement.
• Provide technical guidance on well construction, workover, and remedial design practices.
