Job summary

A leading oil and gas company based in Midland is seeking a Wellbore Reliability Engineer responsible for assessing wellbore integrity risks and developing mitigation strategies. You will analyze data related to water influx and wellbore integrity, working closely with various teams to ensure long-term reliability of horizontal wells. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 7 years of experience in engineering, and strong skills in data analytics and communication. Experience with corrosion certification and well remediation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in oil and gas.
• Experience with deviated or horizontal wells and wellbore remediation.
• Corrosion training or certification with proficiency in reliability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structured root-cause analysis datasets.
• Analyze water influx data to identify failure modes and risks.
