Qualifications

• AWS/ASME/API/AWWA welding codes knowledge required.
• Minimum 10 years inspection experience in welding.
• Current ICC Welding Certificate and ICC High Strength Bolting Certificate.
• Bridge construction or retrofit inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, inspect welding on bridge construction and retrofit projects.
• Review Welding Quality Control Plans from contractors.
• Perform welding QA inspections and verify contract compliance.
• Review Welding Reports prepared by contractors.
