Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to own chassis fabrication processes and drive improvements. You will develop routings, work instructions, fixtures, and cycle times for weld-heavy fabrication, and launch lines with PFMEAs and ramp curves.

You will relentlessly pursue yield and cost reductions through data-driven weekly reviews. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in heavy fabrication, write actionable work instructions, and can leverage Tekla or CAD tools to accelerate

Qualifications

• Experience as manufacturing engineer for heavy fabrication or weldment production.
• Launched fabrication lines or major process changes to improve rate.
• Writes work instructions operators actually use.
• Runs PFMEAs that predict real failures.
• Has reduced cycle time on a process once thought optimized.
• Bonus: Welding process depth, fixture design, Tekla or CAD fluency, takt-based production.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering for chassis fabrication processes.
• Develop process plans: routings, work instructions, fixtures, and cycle times.
• Launch new lines and product revisions, PFMEAs and ramp curves.
• Drive yield and cost reductions through data weekly.
