Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own chassis fabrication processes, routings, work instructions, and cycle-time improvements. You will drive PFMEAs, capability runs, and ramp curves to deliver cost-effective, high-quality weld-heavy production.

You will write operators' instructions, launch new fabrication lines, and analyze data weekly to reduce scrap and rework. Exceptional candidates with heavy fabrication experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as manufacturing engineer for heavy fabrication or weldment production.
• Experience launching fabrication lines or major process changes to improve rate.
• Ability to write work instructions operators actually use.
• Experience running PFMEAs that predict real failures.
• Experience cutting cycle time on a process considered optimized.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering for chassis fabrication: processes turning steel into module frames.
• Develop the process plans: routings, work instructions, fixtures, and cycle times for weld-heavy fabrication.
• Launch new lines and product revisions: PFMEAs, capability runs, and ramp curves you own.
• Drive yield and cost: scrap, rework, and cycle time attacked with data weekly.
