Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate in welding, fabrication, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specs, and sample parts.
• Experience with TIG, MIG, orbital welding and large structural assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, align, fabricate, and weld large, heavy structures.
• Interpret blueprints and specs to determine dimensions and methods.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust parameters for quality.
• Mentor and train junior welders and lead projects when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues.
