Job summary

Unisys seeks a Senior WebSphere Middleware Administrator to lead administration, configuration, and operational support of enterprise WebSphere platforms. You will automate deployments, manage security controls, and ensure high availability across Linux and Windows servers.

Strong scripting in Shell and Python is required, with experience in CI/CD and performance tuning. The role emphasizes vulnerability remediation, patching, and audit compliance, plus collaboration with security and operations

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent with 6+ years of middleware administration experience.
• Experience administering IBM WebSphere environments in enterprise settings.
• Security remediation, vulnerability management, and audit/compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM WebSphere AS, HTTP Server, and Portal environments, including clusters and nodes.
• Perform security remediation, patching, and compliance validation; manage certificates and LDAP/AD integration.
• Develop automation for administration, patching, and health checks using Shell, Python, and JACL/wsadmin.
• Support CI/CD processes and enterprise automation tools; monitor performance and perform RCA.
