Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Senior WebSphere Middleware Administrator to manage and secure enterprise WebSphere environments across Linux and Windows servers. The role emphasizes automation to boost efficiency and reduce manual work.

You will handle SSL/TLS, LDAP/AD, SSO, and patching, while supporting CI/CD processes and maintaining compliance records. US citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years of middleware administration experience with a focus on WebSphere.
• Experience in security remediation, vulnerability management, and audit compliance.
• Demonstrated experience developing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, and WebSphere Portal environments, including cell, node, cluster configurations.
• Support WebSphere Liberty environments where applicable; secondary platforms (Apache, Tomcat, IIS) as needed.
• Perform security remediation, patching, and compliance validation; manage certificates and security integrations.
• Automate deployments, patching, certificate management, and health checks using Shell, Python, and JACL/wsadmin.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes and enterprise automation tools; perform performance monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and audit evidence; participate in change, incident, and service restoration activities.
