Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Digital Software Engineer - Web Development to join our SCRUM team across front-end and microservices. You will design, develop, test, and validate customer-facing banking features on web and mobile platforms, following an Agile SDLC.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related STEM field.
5-8 years of Full stack mobile Development and Testing experience in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test automation using Selenium with Cucumber framework.
Preferable to have experience with cloud-based development platforms such as OpenShift.
Working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office suite.
Self-motivated and ready to take ownership.
Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Turn tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms (e.g. Angular, Java spring boot services).
Ability to use AI tools like Copilot for code generation, refactoring, and debugging.
Develop and maintain BDD automated and manual scripts in a code repository and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using AI tools to accelerate unit tests, API scaffolding, Angular components, and Spring Boot boilerplate.
Participate in the entire software development cycle in a CI/CD environment; automate and shift-left.
Write secure, stable, testable and maintainable code and document features end-to-end.
Analyze root causes for issues and coordinate with teams and partners to fix defects.
Adhere to SDLC controls and pursue continuous improvement.
Validate responsive web design and ADA accessibility using screen readers and accessibility tools.
