Cherokee Nation Solutions Link (CNSL) is seeking a skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional front-end experience, proficient in modern web development tools, techniques, and methods. You will be responsible for front end web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, and other related technologies. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to web standards, accessibility standards, and multi-lingual standards while collaborating within an Agile team environment. Compensation & Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Front-End Developer: $120,000 – $150,000. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Senior Front End Developer Responsibilities

• Front end web development with HTML5, CSS, SASS, and modern frameworks.
• Crafting user-centric web layouts and optimizing user experience.
• Integrating RESTful APIs for Java web app interoperability.
• Developing JavaScript code with modern standards and libraries.
• Creating web layouts from static images and templates in full-stack frameworks.
• Ensuring software meets web, accessibility, and multi-lingual standards.
• Considering 508 compliances and localization formats.
• Designing and implementing software applications.
• Documenting APIs and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Conducting alternative analysis and maintaining code artifacts.
• Following Test-driven development (TDD) and DevOps practices.
• Supporting automation and performance testing.
• Providing Tier 3 support and assisting with packaging.

Senior Front End Developer Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• Active IRS Cleared (MBI)- required.
• 5+ years of full-time professional front-end experience working on Agile teams and using modern web development tools, techniques, and methods for the creation and deployment of user-facing interfaces.
• Proficient in client-side development tools and libraries: Node.js, NPM, Babel, Webpack, JavaScript, React, Create React App, Jest, Testing Library, Selenium, Jira, Confluence, React, AWS, Databricks.
• Strong understanding and application of web standards: CSS, HTML5.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards: WCAG 2.0 (Section 508/WCAG 2.0 AA) and WAI-ARIA.
• Experience with multi-lingual standards: Accessibility Standards (a11y), Internationalization (i18n), and Localization (l10n).
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
