Job summary

CTRL + LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE) to work primarily on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications, collaborating closely with team members on complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate has significant experience in UI development with ReactJS and back-end development using Node.js and Express.js. A salary range of $252,000 – $296,000 is offered based on experience, including some telework options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and building large-scale graph visualization interfaces for the web.
• Strong UI development skills with ReactJS.
• Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js for server-side development.
• Demonstrated ability to design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and project management.
• Working knowledge of Section 508 / WCAG accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, web-based graph visualization interfaces.
• Build clean, reusable, and scalable frontend code using ReactJS.
• Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications and microservices.
• Write and maintain automated JavaScript tests using ESLint and Jest.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
