Job summary

SoundCloud is hiring a Senior Web Engineer to join the Fan Monetization team. You’ll own web surfaces across desktop and mobile, collaborating with engineers and product partners in London, Berlin, and beyond to deliver high-quality experiences to millions of users.

You’ll drive technical design, web performance, and architecture while embracing AI acceleration to boost productivity and code quality. The role involves mentoring peers and working in a distributed, forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years building modern, large-scale web apps with React/TS.
• Strong knowledge of web performance and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain user-facing web features for desktop and mobile web.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, reviews, and testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and distributed teams.
• Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmapping for scalable web stack.
• Optimize performance, debug cross-browser issues, and advocate accessibility and frontend metrics.
