Job summary

TOMORROW HIRE in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join an AGILE team delivering government-grade applications using HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, C#.NET, SQL, Ruby on Rails, AI and AWS. You will collaborate with analysts, UI/UX, testers and customers to define requirements, implement business logic, troubleshoot production apps and provide training materials.

Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant web development experience.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with C#.NET and Bootstrap.
• Experience employing AWS cloud services to create cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of web development principles, languages, and standard programming styles.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies software systems (custom, COTS, GOTS).
• Collaborates with analysts, UI/UX developers, and SMEs to understand requirements.
• Develops cost estimates and conducts impact analysis for software changes.
• Adheres to configuration change control standards and documents changes.
• Presents ideas for system improvements and writes specifications and code.
• Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging web APIs and conducts unit testing.
• Supports formal testing before promotion to production.
• Provides input into training manuals for users.
