Job summary

Belmark is seeking a capable web applications developer to design, develop, and support modern web apps and integrations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate problems into practical technical solutions using React, Node.js, Express, SQL, REST APIs, and Git, while supporting legacy C# apps as needed.

The role emphasizes strong business analysis, collaboration with non-technical stakeholders, and a pragmatic path toward a modern

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related field, OR equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4-8 years of professional experience in software development, business systems analysis, technical business analysis, or a closely related role.
• Strong hands-on development skills with modern web application technologies, including React, Node.js, Express, SQL databases, REST APIs, and Git.
• Ability to effectively utilize English language (writing, speaking, reading).
• Experience translating ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows preferred.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, Linux environments, or Docker containerization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support modern web applications and integrations with React, Node.js, Express, and SQL databases.
• Analyze business workflows, stakeholder needs, and operational pain points to determine practical technical solutions.
• Translate business problems into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with other developers through design discussions, code reviews, testing feedback, and documentation.
• Balance project work with support requests and urgent production issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain and support existing applications, including legacy C# systems, while contributing to modernization efforts.
