Job summary

CGI is seeking a Sr. Web Developer in Harrisburg, PA to design and develop advanced web applications for the ELMS system serving the DoD.

The role focuses on scalable, secure front-end and back-end components and modernizing legacy interfaces. You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, testers and system owners to deliver mission-critical solutions while maintaining client interactions and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in scripting, software development, web page design and development.
• Experience with FrontPage, DreamWeaver, or related web development applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high end client/server based applications supporting ELMS functional and mission needs.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web pages and web based system components.
• Port legacy applications and interfaces into modern, secure web environments.
• Interface directly with clients to determine system requirements, gather functional needs, and translate them into scalable web solutions.
