Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Web Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and websites supporting mission-critical operations in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will collaborate with technical teams to gather requirements and implement modern web technologies.

The role spans front-end and back-end development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, with emphasis on secure, high-performance solutions and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Eight (8) years of Web Developer experience required.
• Experience developing and supporting web applications using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support web-based applications and websites.
• Gather and analyze customer requirements to determine effective web technology solutions.
• Develop user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces with intuitive navigation and functionality.
• Create and maintain website technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
• Code and maintain websites using HTML and other web development technologies and frameworks.
• Integrate new web products and capabilities into existing applications and environments.
• Develop website components including user interfaces, databases, animation, and business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues using modern web development tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with software development leads and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Support planning, deployment, configuration management, and lifecycle maintenance activities.
• Analyze and resolve complex web application issues independently.
