Job summary

IntrepidGS is seeking a Senior Web Designer & SharePoint Administrator to design and administer Microsoft SharePoint environments and deliver secure, user-focused web experiences on an onsite contract.

The role requires 7–10+ years of SharePoint administration and web solution development in enterprise settings, with expertise in SharePoint 2016/2019 or SharePoint Online, and strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills for responsive design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Web Design, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of SharePoint administration and web solution development in enterprise environments.
• Expertise with SharePoint 2016/2019 or SharePoint Online, including site collection and content management.
• Strong experience building automated workflows and custom forms, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Nintex.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience translating customer requirements, business rules, and compliance mandates into design and automation solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• DoD experience preferred, including knowledge of Army Information Management policies and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, configure, and administer Microsoft SharePoint Server environments, including permissions, content management, and site collections.
• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, dashboards, forms, and workflows aligned to branding and functional needs.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate business needs into automated SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Improve collaboration through web design and UI/UX enhancements for knowledge sharing.
• Provide proactive maintenance, performance optimization, and troubleshooting for SharePoint services, content databases, and supporting infrastructure.
• Ensure security compliance with DoD/Army cybersecurity policies, including access control and vulnerability remediation in coordination with ISSM/IT leadership.
• Maintain documentation such as configuration baselines, architecture diagrams, test plans, and SOPs.
• Deliver user training, onboarding support, and technical guidance for SharePoint capabilities and web content publishing.
• Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise applications and services as authorized.
• Support lifecycle upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
