This hands-on role emphasizes conversion-focused design, accessibility, and scalable design systems; occasional client calls, and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Figma
• 5+ years of web design experience
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
• Expertise in responsive design principles
• Experience designing for conversion and UX
• Proficiency in Canva Pro, Photoshop
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor
• Experience building design systems and component libraries
• Strong visual storytelling and layout structuring skills

Responsibilities

• Design complete websites in Figma (desktop and mobile) to handoff-ready state
• Interpret briefs and research trends to define creative direction
• Design with a conversion-first mindset and strong CTAs
• Create visually engaging page layouts using typography, color, imagery and spacing
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components in Figma
• Produce brand assets in Canva (social, ads, emails)
• Deliver well-structured Figma files with proper naming and responsive states
• Participate in client design reviews to incorporate feedback
• Leverage AI tools to guide the creative process
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines and scope control
• Collaborate with developers, copywriters, strategists for alignment
• Apply UX thinking like user flows and journey mapping
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and consistency across breakpoints
• Continuously optimize design workflows with AI tools
