Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing responsive, accessible web interfaces.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating advanced website and UI/UX design work.
• Deep understanding of accessibility guidelines and web standards (Section 508, WCAG).
• Proficient in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Experience working with CMS platforms from a design, development, and content perspective.
• Strong client communication skills and the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Proven experience mentoring or leading other team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Senior Web Designer leads the creation of modern, accessible, and user-friendly digital experiences. The Senior Web Designer is accountable for end-to-end ownership of complex design projects, from discovery and concept development to client delivery, with a focus on public-sector solutions that meet usability, accessibility, and organizational standards.
