Qualifications

Significant experience designing enterprise web applications and architectures.
Strong knowledge of modern web tech: React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript.
Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, integrations, and microservices.
Knowledge of containerized platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Understanding of security, identity, authentication, authorization, and CI/CD.
Experience designing for scalability, performance, availability, resiliency, and observability.
Ability to develop architecture designs, evaluate options, and communicate across teams.
OpenShift architecture and deployment experience; cloud as AWS/Azure/GCP.
Knowledge of API gateways, Kafka, event-driven architecture, and enterprise identity platforms.
Familiarity with cloud-native monitoring, distributed tracing, and service mesh.
Experience modernizing legacy applications in complex or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Lead application architecture and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Define components, APIs, integrations, data flows, and deployment designs.
Establish architecture standards and design patterns for modern web apps.
Guide frontend, server-side, and modular design decisions.
Develop API and integration strategies focusing on security, performance, and resiliency.
Guide containerized deployment, scaling, and runtime design.
Incorporate security, availability, disaster recovery, and observability into architecture.
Lead architecture reviews, document decisions, and communicate risks and trade-offs.
Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, DevSecOps, and integration teams.
Identify modernization opportunities and promote reusable architecture patterns.
