Job summary

ASM Research is seeking a seasoned software developer to oversee and contribute to a development project, designing, coding, testing, and deploying web applications using Java, C#, HTML, and JavaScript with a focus on accessibility.

Responsibilities include coordinating with content and graphics teams, maintaining sites, and delivering solutions for client requirements with Oracle or SQL Server backends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5-10 years of experience with programming or web development activities.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python, XML, JavaScript, or other programming languages to design and develop prototypes.
• Experience designing scalable databases with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work with clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with content developers and graphics designers to translate designs into executable software.
• Provides technical site maintenance and advice on complex issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics, and other technical web developments.
• Delivers technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations, and enhancements of existing systems.
• Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written and then designs, codes, debugs, and documents programs.
• Designs user interfaces of interactive web applications including ADA 508, and cross browser compliance.
