Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Senior Weapons Systems Test Engineer to lead planning and execution of tests for advanced strike weapon systems in the KVv group. You will guide test strategy, perform test planning, conduct data analysis, and deliver reports to sponsors within the Force Projection Sector in Laurel, MD.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering/science, 10+ years of systems test experience, strong communication skills, and ability to obtain SAP and Top

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or related technical field.
At least 10 years of systems test engineering experience in development and test and evaluation of complex systems.
Ability to obtain SAP and Top Secret/SCI clearances; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute test planning for ground and flight tests of advanced strike weapon systems.
Develop test strategy and objectives, and drive test execution and reporting.
Coordinate resources, analyze results, and recommend design or test improvements.
Deliver formal presentations to sponsors and stakeholders.
