Position

Rockefeller Private Office is core to who we are as a firm. The Private Office is comprised of an elite team of experienced professionals – including wealth planners, tax advisors, estate attorneys, and other experts – who work in concert to deliver holistic, personalized wealth planning and family office solutions. This collaborative environment ensures that each client benefits from the collective expertise of the entire Rockefeller team, addressing the full spectrum of wealth management, estate planning, tax strategy, and family governance needs.

The Senior Wealth Strategist is a member of the Rockefeller Private Office who develops, consults on and implements tax, estate and financial plans for the most sophisticated clients of Rockefeller. In this client-facing role you will collaborate with other planning resources and partner with Rockefeller Private Advisors (financial advisors) to deepen existing client relationships and drive value for important firm prospects through sophisticated tax, estate and financial planning. You will conduct and review research, as appropriate, and develop tax, estate and financial analyses and recommendations. In addition to collaborating with internal partners, you will work with client’s external advisors (CPAs, Attorneys, etc.) to facilitate implementation and brainstorming of planning solutions.

As a Senior Wealth Strategist within Rockefeller Private Office team, you won’t operate in isolation – you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary group of experts (including CPAs, JDs, and CFP® professionals) to ensure our clients receive quality integrated advice. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the country’s most sophisticated families and individuals, leveraging Rockefeller’s legendary legacy and resources to help clients preserve and grow their wealth across generations.

Ensure planning recommendations are effectively executed and aligned with client objectives.
  • Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert and technical resource for advisors, clients, and centers of influence on complex tax, estate, trust, charitable, executive compensation, and business owner planning matters.
  • Business Development Support: Partner with Private Advisors to identify planning opportunities, deepen existing client relationships, and contribute to business development efforts through the delivery of highly customized planning advice and strategic insights.
  • Thought Leadership & Intellectual Capital: Contribute to the firm's thought leadership initiatives through the development of planning resources, white papers, presentations, client-facing content, advisor education programs, and other intellectual capital that enhances Rockefeller's market presence and technical capabilities.
  • Talent Development & Mentorship: Develop and mentor junior team members through collaboration on client engagements, technical coaching, training initiatives, and ongoing professional development opportunities that strengthen the team’s expertise and client service capabilities.
  • Practice Development:Play an active role in the ongoing growth and innovation of the Rockefeller Private Office.
