Job summary

JFG Family Office in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Associate Advisor to join our client-facing team. You will work with Lead Advisors to develop planning recommendations, manage client relationships day-to-day, and drive disciplined execution across investments, planning, and family office matters.

You’ll own meeting prep, lead cross-functional coordination, and serve as the operating lead to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in wealth management, an RIA, family office, or similar advisory environment.
• Strong financial planning chops — ideally with CFP or CPWA certification
• Experience with UHNW or HNW clients
• Series 65 (or ability to obtain)
• Highly organized, discreet, and comfortable in a high-touch, complex client environment

Responsibilities

• Leading comprehensive financial planning analyses across cash flow, estate, tax, charitable, and investment topics
• Coordinating with attorneys, CPAs, trustees, and other outside professionals
• Owning client meeting prep — agendas, materials, notes, and follow-through
• Managing complex, multi-workstream projects across internal teams
• Mentoring Associate Advisors and contributing to team process improvements
