Job summary

Northern Trust in the United States is seeking a senior financial professional to grow wealth management client relationships, manage complex banking credit and treasury management engagements, and identify cross-selling opportunities in investments and fiduciary services.

You will act as a subject matter expert, providing in-depth consulting and leadership to teams and partners, while balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution across cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial analysis and client servicing or lending.
• Strong negotiation, leadership and sales abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Develops new relationships and marketing strategies for clients.
• Manages complex wealth management client relationships and identifies cross-selling opportunities.
• Structures and negotiates complex loan and lease agreements according to policy guidelines.
• Analyzes and negotiates loan terms, pricing conditions, and instruments (e.g., swaps).
• Advises clients on Goals Driven Wealth Management strategies.
• Generates leads through established COIs and expands the COI network.
• Acts as a subject-matter expert, delivering deep consulting and leadership to teams.
• Balances high-level execution with strategic direction of business functions.
• Interacts with committees and management to drive programs forward.
• Develops and administers programs within functional areas.
• Leads others to solve complex problems.
