About Wiss Private Client Advisors

Wiss Family Office currently advises on over $2.0B in assets and is a full-service boutique wealth management firm offering a variety of services to HNW and UHNW client base, with referrals from our parent firm, Wiss (fast-growing full-service CPA firm servicing middle market businesses and their owners/families with over 350 employees). Wiss Family Office started 8 years ago and continues to experience tremendous growth and high volume of client referrals from Wiss relationship partners. Founded seven years ago, Wiss Private Client Advisors continues to experience exceptional growth, driven by deep client relationships, trusted professional networks, and an integrated advisory model that combines investment management, financial planning, estate and tax strategy, and family office services.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Financial Advisor to lead client relationships and deliver holistic, high-touch wealth management advice. This individual will serve as a primary advisor to HNW and UHNW clients, collaborating across disciplines—including tax, estate planning, and transaction advisory—to design and implement highly customized financial strategies.

The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and client-centric, with a strong ability to build trust, communicate complex ideas clearly, and mentor the next generation of advisors.

Core Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead advisor for a select group of HNW and UHNW clients, overseeing comprehensive wealth management relationships.
  • Develop and implement customized financial plans incorporating investment, estate, tax, and risk management strategies.
  • Act as a quarterback across tax, estate, insurance, and investment specialists to deliver coordinated, best-in-class client solutions.
  • Engage directly with clients and their families, acting as their trusted advisor for all financial matters.
  • Drive asset retention and growth within existing relationships, deepening engagement and identifying new opportunities.
  • Mentor and train junior advisors, associates, and analysts to support ongoing firm growth and professional development.
  • Collaborate with firm partners to enhance the client experience and contribute to initiatives that support continued expansion and change.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in wealth management or private client advisory, ideally within a full-service RIA or multi-disciplinary financial services firm.
  • CFP® certification and Series 65 required; additional credentials (CFA, CPA, JD, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across investment, estate, and tax planning disciplines.
  • Prior experience within an accounting or professional services firm strongly preferred.
Core Competencies
  • Deep technical understanding of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning strategies.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with a client-first mindset and high ethical standards.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; ability to simplify complexity for clients.
  • Professional presence, emotional intelligence, and high personal integrity.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and adaptable within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary - $130-$160k
  • Discretionary Performance Bonus
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and professional development support
