Senior Wealth Advisor

Wiss Family Office currently advises on $870 million in assets and is a full-service boutique wealth management firm offering a variety of services to a high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client base, with referrals from our parent firm, Wiss. Wiss is a fast-growing full-service CPA firm servicing middle-market businesses and their owners/families with over 300 employees. Wiss Family Office started 5 years ago and continues to experience tremendous growth and a high volume of client referrals from Wiss relationship partners.


We are looking for a Senior Wealth Advisor, who will be responsible for supporting and implementing Wiss' Family Office Private Client offering. The Senior Wealth Advisor will manage HNW and UHNW client relationships and work with other areas at Wiss, including Estate Planning, Tax, and Transaction Advisory, to develop highly customized and sophisticated plans for clients.


Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact in supporting clients' overall financial planning needs.
  • Develop in-depth custom materials including cash flow, estate, tax, and insurance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients' families.
  • Acquire, develop, and retain assets within the existing client base.
  • Train future financial advisors and staff to support the client base.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a full-service RIA or other type of Financial Services Institution.
  • Series 65 and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) required; other licenses (CFA, etc.) are a plus.
  • Prior experience working in an accounting firm is a huge plus.

  • Advanced understanding of the full range of financial, tax, and estate planning topics and solutions, with depth of experience working with UHNW and HNW clients.
  • Client-centric with high ethical standards.
  • Demonstrated development of talent, training, and mentoring staff.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking skills to assess clients' current financial position and evolving needs or requirements.
