Qualifications

• CA Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster Certification/ designation required.
• 5+ years Workers’ Compensation Claims handling experience required.
• CA workers' comp claims experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims to determine compensability and possible subrogation or apportionment.
• Open new Claims, complete three-point contact, and perform needed investigations.
• Set reserves according to company guidelines and maintain data integrity.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and/or attorneys, within authority.
• Maintain regular contact with injured workers, employers, and agents to build trust.
