Job summary

VHB, recognized as a Best Managed Company, is seeking a Senior Level Waterfront Engineer to join its team in Boston. In this role, you will assist with planning and designing waterfront and coastal infrastructure projects that have significant community impact.

The successful candidate will have experience in engineering analysis, design of waterfront structures, and a Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months. VHB offers a collaborative culture and best-in-class benefits within a flexible hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of experience in Waterfront Engineering, including structural analysis.
• Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of regulatory processes in Rhode Island preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing Waterfront/Coastal practice projects.
• Assist in engineering analysis and design of waterfront structures.
• Manage projects, scope, budget, schedule and quality control.

Education

B.S. in Civil, Structural, Waterfront, or Coastal Engineering
