Job summary

The City and County of San Francisco seeks a Manager of Waterfront Development Projects to lead the Real Estate and Development Division’s most complex waterfront initiatives, including infrastructure and public-private partnerships. You will direct multidisciplinary teams from concept through implementation, aligning schedules, budgets, and regulatory strategies with city priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
Minimum five years of progressively responsible management experience leading waterfront, real estate development, infrastructure, or P3 projects.
Experience negotiating major transaction agreements and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Leads and oversees the Port's most complex waterfront development, infrastructure, and P3 projects from conception through implementation and closeout.
Establishes project strategies, schedules, budgets, and transaction frameworks aligned with city objectives.
Directs multidisciplinary teams responsible for planning, financial analysis, environmental review, regulatory approvals, real estate transactions, construction coordination, and project implementation.
Directs environmental review and entitlement strategies to comply with CEQA/NEPA and other regulations, coordinating public hearings and agency actions.
