AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking an experienced Waterfront Corrosion Technician V in Bath, ME to support HM&E engineering for DDG 51 Flight III ships. The role emphasizes corrosion control, documentation updates, and crew readiness.

You will coordinate with ship crews, perform technical reviews of ILS elements, and support full lifecycle activities for class ships, ensuring readiness and compliance with Navy standards.

Formación

• 5 years of corrosion control experience on Navy ships (hull, topside, interior, deck surfaces).
• Experience applying Clean Air Act, NESHAP, EPA, OSHA, ASTM 718F, and MSDS VOC requirements.
• Experience conducting underwater hull surveys to evaluate corrosion control effectiveness.
• AMPP CIP inspector certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for spare parts and assemblies; update technical docs for installation, testing, operation, and maintenance.
• Assist in crew familiarization and readiness activities for underway and ship trials.
• Review and provide ILS inputs and lifecycle support for Flight III ships.
• Update and maintain Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS), PMS, and technical manuals.
• Support on-site Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) engineering tasks and ship systems.
