Job summary

Crescent Constructors, Inc. is a Texas-based heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater construction projects from planning through closeout.

You will oversee safety, schedule, cost control, quality, and client satisfaction while collaborating with field leadership, engineers, owners, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of heavy civil experience on water/wastewater projects, strong reads of drawings and documents, and proven

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of heavy civil construction experience, with significant water and wastewater project exposure.
• Proven ability to manage medium to large water and wastewater projects.
• Strong understanding of treatment plant construction, pump stations, underground utilities, and related infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with project management and cost control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of water and wastewater construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with superintendents, field engineers, and project staff for efficient execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance.
• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
• Monitor costs and progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with owners, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with owners.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and lead project teams for workforce development.
• Ensure proper documentation and successful project closeout.
