You will lead strategic planning, team development, and client engagement to advance service delivery and market presence. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in design, management, and business development, with 6+ years in water/wastewater and AZ PE licensure (or eligibility within 6 months).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in design, management, and business development.
• Arizona PE license or eligible within 6 months.
• Strong project management and team leadership background.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and Westwood offices nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement a strategic plan focused on growth.
• Lead service-specific proposals, providing technical expertise and innovation.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to enhance services and delivery methods.
• Uphold high design and reporting standards for quality and consistency.
• Represent clients and the firm in meetings with governmental agencies.
• Lead business development activities and build client relationships.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage projects profitably.
• Supervise engineers and technical staff on projects.
• Develop project work plans and budgets and allocate resources.
• Review metrics like utilization, backlog, WIP, and AR.
• Prepare schedules for multiple concurrent projects and track milestones.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and participate in bids and submittals.
• Resolve design conflicts and field construction issues.
• Grow, mentor and train staff.
