Job summary

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. seeks a Senior Water and Wastewater Project Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead design and delivery of municipal water infrastructure projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, win work, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 15–25 years in engineering with PM/supervisory experience, a North Carolina PE license, and strong communication and writing skills. Proficiency in Civil3D and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering; Professional Engineer licensure in North Carolina or reciprocity possible.
• Typical incumbent has 15–25 years of experience since degree, with at least 3 years in PM/supervisory roles.
• Excellent water/wastewater design skills and water treatment knowledge; internship desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design tasks on large, multidisciplinary projects and act as project manager for local studies.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop plans, budgets, schedules, and man‑hour estimates; review reports and drawings for quality and compliance.
