Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager in Washington, DC to lead planning and engineering design of water and wastewater infrastructure.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, mentor staff, and drive proposals to strengthen client relationships while coordinating with multiple disciplines. Based in Washington DC, you will develop project management plans, control budgets and schedules, and perform complex design tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Perform business development and develop proposals to increase project wins.
• Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Develop project management plans, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects.
• Lead complex water/wastewater design tasks and documentations.
