Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Project/Client Manager to lead and grow our Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads presence while supporting our national infrastructure business unit. This role offers the chance to guide the planning, design, and delivery of complex water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment projects, from concept through construction.

We’re looking for a proven leader who has managed multidisciplinary teams and large metropolitan infrastructure programs, ensuring successful

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
10+ years in water/wastewater discipline as engineer/PM.
VA PE license required or ability to obtain in 6 months.
Experience with design, permitting, and construction admin of water facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of water/wastewater and related facilities from planning through construction.
Coordinate activities of staff and consultants, manage meetings, schedules and budgets.
Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, forecasts using company tools.
Develop preferred design alternatives with multidisciplinary teams.
Oversee analyses, design reports, cost estimates, and permitting.
Coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Oversee construction contract management and observation.
Prepare reports and permit applications.
Mentor entry-level engineers.
Identify and pursue business opportunities, proposals, and staffing.
