Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer to lead and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction. This role requires oversight of project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, providing leadership as both a project engineer and project manager depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects from initial concept through to construction.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
• Serve as both project engineer and project manager, adapting to project needs.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and project engineers, fostering their technical growth.
• Coordinate directly with clients, subconsultants, and team members to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare design documents and construction drawings in accordance with project standards.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project standards.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• California PE license.
• 5-15 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work in a lean, flat-structure organization.
• Experience with pipeline hydraulics and mechanical piping layouts.

• Experience with ArcGIS or hydraulic modeling software.
• Background in municipal infrastructure or prior work at a large civil firm.
