Job summary

Consor in Austin, Texas seeks a Water/Wastewater Process Design Engineer to plan, design, and analyze treatment systems, lead design tasks, and ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and client objectives.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Environmental/Chemical engineering, 4+ years of experience, a PE license, and basic AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills; it blends office and field work with potential exposure to challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater process engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review process and facility design plans, engineering calculations, and technical documentation for water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply industry engineering standards, design codes, and regulatory criteria to ensure technical accuracy and compliance throughout project delivery.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system performance evaluations to inform planning, design, and operational decisions.
• Coordinate and integrate design efforts with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to support seamless project execution.
• Provide technical support to project managers, including design input, cost estimating, constructability considerations, and quality control reviews across project phases.
