Job summary

Dewberry's Raleigh, NC office is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead municipal and private water and wastewater design projects, manage scope, schedule and budget, and mentor junior engineers.

You will build client relationships in the Raleigh market, participate in business development, and collaborate across offices while applying the latest design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• NC Professional Engineering license.
• 10+ years’ experience with increasing levels of project responsibilities for water/wastewater projects.
• Strong relationships with clients in the Raleigh market.
• Extensive technical experience in the design of wastewater conveyance systems and pump stations, water distribution and storage, and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Management of water and wastewater design projects.
• Pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects.
• Lead and facilitate engineering design staff.
• Work with design team across multiple offices and multiple disciplines to generate detailed design documents for construction plans.
• Meet client deadlines and project budgets.
• Participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
