Job summary

Olsson’s Water/Wastewater team seeks an experienced modeling engineer to perform hydraulic modeling and master planning from conception to completion. You will design, analyze, and document solutions using CAD/modeling tools and engage with clients.

Required: a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 10+ years in water/sewer modeling, and proficiency with InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro, WaterCAD, and ArcGIS Pro. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience with water and sewer modeling software.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro.
• Knowledge of open channel and closed pipe hydraulics.
• Strong team communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level project design and design QA/QC for complex projects.
• Apply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex problems.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise assignments.
• Build and maintain client relationships and ensure project success.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and master planning from concept to completion.
