Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator to support water and wastewater projects in Florida. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, perform takeoffs, and develop conceptual budgets for municipal infrastructure, working closely with operations leaders, project managers, and vendors.

The role requires 5+ years of estimating experience, knowledge of water/wastewater treatment projects, and a track record with public sector projects. Competitive base salary with bonuses and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Background with municipal or public infrastructure projects.
• Experience with process mechanical, concrete structures, utilities, and civil scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid leveling.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Coordinate with project management and field operations teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop conceptual budgets during early project planning.
• Support proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors in the utilities market.
