B&B Concrete Contractors in Madison, WI seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects, develop accurate estimates, and partner with operations from bid through handoff.

You will evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just takeoffs—and collaborate with project teams to set projects up for successful execution.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience estimating water and wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete and heavy civil work.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Strong cost analysis and scope review skills.
• Familiarity with construction means, methods, sequencing, and productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, piping, and related infrastructure.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals and ensure scope coverage.
• Evaluate phasing, staging, logistics, constructability, and sequencing.
• Develop preliminary schedules to support estimating efforts.
• Identify risks, opportunities, value-engineering ideas, and cost-saving strategies.
• Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Prepare detailed project budgets and lead handoffs.
• Support subcontractor and supplier buyout after award.
• Partner with operations to set up projects for successful execution.
