Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Water/Wastewater Engineer in Pasadena, California to lead client service, project delivery, design management and project management for water and wastewater systems. The role focuses on planning, design, and construction administration of water, recycled water, and wastewater infrastructure, with opportunities for leadership and growth in California.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering; MS preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of water/wastewater treatment or conveyance experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid California Professional Engineering license, or PE license in another state with ability to obtain California license within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and project delivery as a client-facing Project Leader in Municipal and/or Industrial Water markets in California.
• Promote project delivery structure with Project Managers and Project Technical Leads.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership for water and/or wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with clients during planning, design, and construction.
• Mentor professionals in California offices.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
