Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Lead Water-Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Bloomington, MN or nearby offices. You will act as a technical lead, mentor engineers, and steer end-to-end water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.

We value experienced professionals with PE credentials and strong design software knowledge, ready to work on multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable infrastructure nationwide.

Qualifications

• PE license and 20+ years of water/wastewater experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery of public and/or private projects.
• Strong knowledge of design software and hydraulic analyses.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and systems from concept through construction.
• Serve as a technical leader, guiding complex projects and improving design standards.
• Direct project teams to ensure technical accuracy and quality across projects.
• Produce and review complex calculations, plans, and specs with quality control.
• Mentor emerging engineers and share expertise.
• Collaborate with municipalities, utilities, and developers to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Shape future water infrastructure with a technical vision across engagements.
